The AESD Annual Conference "Soaring to Success: ESD Flight Plan" was held April 24-26 at the Holiday Inn in downtown Everett. Approximately 90 ESD Board members and staff attended this enjoyable conference. Keynote speakers were Andrea Peterson, 2007 National Teacher of the Year from Granite Falls S.D. and George "Pinky" Nelson, a nationally known advocate for science education reform and former NASA space shuttel astronaut.
